Section: What we do

Four things we do properly.

New products, existing products, the software underneath them and the identity around them.

Most projects begin in one of these and end up touching the others.

01

Digital Product Design

From idea to experience.

A product usually starts as one sentence somebody can’t stop thinking about. Our job is to find out whether it holds up, then shape it into something people can use without being taught.

Why it matters

Products rarely fail because the idea was wrong. They fail because the idea was never made clear enough to act on, so the team builds the version that was easiest to imagine instead of the one people needed.

How it goes

  1. 01Frame the problemWho this is for, what they are trying to get done, and what success would actually look like.
  2. 02Map the journeyFlows, states and structure before screens. Most product problems are structural.
  3. 03Design the experienceInterface, interaction and language designed together rather than in sequence.
  4. 04Prototype and testSomething clickable in front of real people early, while changing it is still cheap.

What you get

  • Research findings
  • User flows and information architecture
  • Wireframes
  • UX/UI design
  • Interactive prototype
  • Design system foundations
  • Developer-ready handoff

A typical engagement

Starts with
A conversation about the problem, not the feature list.
How it runs
Discovery first, then design in short cycles you review as we go. Nothing arrives as a finished surprise.

A good fit when

  • You have a problem worth solving and no product yet.
  • Your idea grows every time somebody describes it.
  • You want to test the thinking before committing a development budget.

Capabilities

  • Product discovery
  • UX research
  • User flows
  • Information architecture
  • UX/UI design
  • Prototyping
  • Design systems
  • Interaction design

02

Digital Experience Improvement

Already have something? Let’s make it better.

Most digital products are not broken. They have accumulated — a feature here, an exception there, a redesign that stopped halfway. We find what is genuinely in the way and deal with that first.

Why it matters

Rebuilding is expensive and frequently unnecessary. A few precise changes to a journey people already use will usually beat a new version of everything.

How it goes

  1. 01Use it properlyWe go through the experience the way your customers do, then the way your team does. The gap between the two is where the work is.
  2. 02Find the frictionAudit, analytics, support themes and usability testing, to separate real problems from strong opinions.
  3. 03Prioritise honestlyWhat to fix now, what to fix later, and what to leave alone.
  4. 04Redesign and verifyWe change what needs changing, then check that it actually helped.

What you get

  • UX and accessibility audit
  • Prioritised findings
  • Annotated journey map
  • Redesigned key screens
  • Implementation guidance
  • Before and after review

A typical engagement

Starts with
Access to the current experience and whatever you already know about how it performs.
How it runs
An audit first. You keep the findings whether or not the work continues with us.

A good fit when

  • People use your product but describe it as confusing.
  • Something works and nobody can explain why it works that way.
  • You are being told to rebuild and you are not convinced.

Capabilities

  • UX audits
  • Website audits
  • Usability improvements
  • Journey optimization
  • Interface redesign
  • Accessibility improvements
  • Conversion optimization
  • Product modernization

03

Digital Development

Good design deserves good implementation.

A design is a proposal until it is built. We build it: accessible, fast, responsive, and maintainable by whoever comes next.

Why it matters

Careful design work is routinely lost in implementation. Spacing drifts, states go missing, loading is an afterthought, and the result feels heavier than it looked.

How it goes

  1. 01Agree the foundationsStack, structure, content model, and how the thing will be maintained after launch.
  2. 02Build in the openWorking software early and often, on a real URL you can open whenever you like.
  3. 03Test the edgesEmpty states, error states, slow connections, keyboards, screen readers and small screens.
  4. 04Launch and hand overDocumented, measurable, and genuinely yours.

What you get

  • Production front-end
  • CMS or content model
  • API integrations
  • Accessibility and performance pass
  • Documentation
  • Deployment and handover

A typical engagement

Starts with
Finished designs, or a design phase with us.
How it runs
Built in increments on a staging URL, reviewed as it goes rather than at the end.

A good fit when

  • You have designs and need them built properly.
  • Your current site is slow, fragile or impossible to update.
  • You need a tool that does not exist as an off-the-shelf product.

Capabilities

  • Websites
  • Web applications
  • SaaS interfaces
  • Interactive tools
  • Custom digital platforms
  • Front-end development
  • API integrations
  • CMS implementation

04

Brand & Digital Identity

Make the experience recognizable.

Identity is not a logo applied at the end. It is the accumulated effect of how something looks, reads and behaves, which means most of it is decided inside the product.

Why it matters

Plenty of good products are forgettable. When the interface, the writing and the brand are made by different people at different times, people feel the seams even when they cannot name them.

How it goes

  1. 01Find the positionWhat this is, who it is for, and what it should never sound like.
  2. 02Build the systemType, colour, layout, motion and language, defined as a system rather than a folder of files.
  3. 03Apply it where it countsThe product interface first. That is where people meet the brand most often.
  4. 04Write it downGuidelines short enough that people will actually use them.

What you get

  • Brand positioning
  • Logo system
  • Typography and colour system
  • UI brand direction
  • Asset library
  • Digital brand guidelines

A typical engagement

Starts with
A short positioning session, usually alongside product or improvement work.
How it runs
Identity and interface developed together, so the brand survives contact with the product.

A good fit when

  • Your product is good and nobody remembers it.
  • Your brand looks one way and your product looks another.
  • You have outgrown the identity you started with.

Capabilities

  • Brand strategy
  • Visual identity
  • Logo systems
  • Typography
  • Color systems
  • UI branding
  • Design systems
  • Digital brand guidelines

Section: Ready?

Let’s simplify something.

A new product. An old problem. A complicated journey. Or something you haven’t figured out yet.
